The Global Coaching Group is a community of senior coaches and practitioners united by a shared set of values and connectedness. Into the service for our clients, we bring diverse backgrounds and an in-depth understanding of local cultures. We are familiar with the challenges leaders and teams face in business as we have extensive professional experience in senior leadership positions.
We pride ourselves in the capacity to demonstrate excellence in our work and to stay curious. We pursue continuous reflection and learning, and take inspiration form each other’s work. We go beyond models, concepts and tools and believe in the coaches’ and practitioners’ unique set of skills and experiences to provide the most suitable solution for our clients.
As a vital part of nurturing the community we meet in person on the annual GCG Conference, we have quarterly community calls to share experiences and intervision groups to learn from each other. For us, collaborating and cooperating is a source of inspiration.
Coach Selection Process
Our selection criteria include:
- Passion for our profession which translates into “care beyond contract” for clients and colleagues
- Connectedness to our shared values and identity
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as senior manager or entrepreneur in a high-performance multinational environment
- 5+ years as a business coach or 10+ years as an executive coach of experience and success in a corporate environment
- International experience and background by working or living in a foreign country/culture
- Graduation from a recognized coach training program
- Certification from the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) or a Master Certified Coach (MCC) or equivalent
- Continuous education and learning
- Fluency in their coaching languages and in English
Our rigorous selection process is built on:
- Referral from a GCG coach or thorough research for a potential coach
- Initial interview with Key Account Manager and/or Managing Director
- Standardized questionnaire to document coach’s beliefs, experience and expertise
- Second interview based on the questionnaire
- Formal contract between coach and GCG

Partnering with you as our customers starts far before a contract is agreed and continues when the contract is delivered on. Our goal is to explore your needs and what really impacts your organization in order to co-create the best possible solution with you. We value the long-term relationship over the short-term sales. After the contract we do not stop, but care genuinely for your sustained results.
